This two-story duplex house was designed for my client, Mr. Kamol Ranjon Das. Despite the constraints of a compact plot and a detailed set of client requirements, the project was approached with thoughtful planning and precision. Every aspect of the design—from the northeast-oriented prayer space to the dual access to the balcony from both the Puja Ghar and the bedroom—was carefully considered to reflect the client’s vision.
This is a ten-story residential building project located in Dhaka city. Each floor features four units, with access to an elevator and staircase through the lobby. Every unit includes one bedroom, a master bedroom with an attached bathroom and balcony, a dining area, a kitchen, and a living room with a balcony in the front, offering an amazing view.
This project is a little different — a modern design combined with a traditional touch creates a unique and aesthetic appearance. The front yard’s open space is ideal for evening walks and allows fresh air and ample daylight to flow into the villa. On the left side of the front yard, there is a beautifully designed open car parking area, creating a welcoming forecourt that blends functionality with spatial openness.
